Custom Next.js Web Application: ProxiesThatWork

The Challenge

ProxiesThatWork is a streamlined digital service providing affordable, highly reliable HTTP/HTTPS proxies tested across thousands of major websites. With a brand built entirely on the promise of 99.9% uptime and rapid connectivity, their digital storefront needed to reflect that exact level of performance. The core challenge of this project was twofold: designing a clean, high-converting user interface from scratch, and engineering a robust architecture for complex API data fetching. The application required seamless, real-time data integration to accurately display live pricing tiers, user authentication states, and instant proxy deployment processes without causing frontend lag or compromising the user experience.

The Solution

To deliver a lightning-fast, scalable solution, I architected a custom web application from the ground up using React.js and Next.js. I designed a modern, intuitive interface featuring seamless light/dark mode toggling and a frictionless conversion funnel that guides users effortlessly from the landing page to checkout.

To resolve the data-fetching bottlenecks, I leveraged Next.js’s advanced rendering capabilities—specifically Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG). This allowed me to efficiently fetch and cache critical API data from their backend servers and payment gateways before it even reached the user's browser, drastically reducing load times. I implemented sophisticated state management within React.js to ensure that dynamic elements, such as IP authentication inputs and dashboard metrics, updated instantly and securely. Furthermore, the entire Next.js framework was structured with strict technical SEO best practices, ensuring the application is highly visible to search engines while maintaining top-tier performance scores.
